Drama Gallery

Introduction

Founded in 1998, Drama Gallery has become one of Hong Kong’s most highly-regarded professional theatre troupes. Co-founders Yu Hon-ting and Gladys Liu are both graduates of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and multiple winners at the Hong Kong Drama Awards.

Consistently produces high-calibre drama performances with a unique sensitivity towards the city. Through his unique poetic language, Yu’s writing specialises in capturing the complex human emotions in the contemporary era. Liu is an indispensible element of Drama Gallery with her powerful and fine acting. Both lead the team to achieve the Company’s key objectives: To be inspired by creating; to perform exquisitely; to go beyond reality; to restructure our lives.

Established its own studio theatre, DG Blackbox Theatre, in 2012.
