St. James’ Settlement Rehabilitation Services, Dancing Heart Troupe

Introduction

St. James’ Settlement – Rehabilitation Services has been committed in providing integrated and comprehensive services for people with disabilities. Our dedication to satisfy their needs and to enhance their “Quality of Life” enables our participants to live independently and as a valued member of our society.

Dancing Heart Troupe is the first dance troupe formed by people with disabilities in Hong Kong. It has been established and registered in Hong Kong Dance Federation Limited in the year of 2000. Since then, the troupe has constantly taken part in public performances such as the Hong Kong Dance Expo. We believe that, although people with disabilities face different levels of limitation, mentally or physically, their inborn artistic talent is not limited and thus their enthusiasm toward art could be bound by no barrier. Through DANCING, the enthusiasm and truthful HEART of our troupe members is freely expressed.
