“The Fabulous World of Ho Tsz” Literary Theatre in Practice Project – Finale Performance
Theatre
Description
Description
The project aims to adopt children stories written by the renowned children literature writer in Hong Kong, Ho Tsz as the blueprint for theatrical creation. After reading his works, students will be guided by the instructor to enrich the script and characters for a theatrical performance. Students would be able to act on those characters that carry strong local characteristics. Not only could they be guided to learn about creative presentation expression skills for theatre, they would also understand more about the relationship between literature and theatre.
After a year of literature theatre training, students are going to share their learning outcome with the public. A sharing session will be set after each school’s performance where participating students could share with the audience their creation process and performing experience. There will be three primary and two special schools participating in the finale performance.
