Description
Description
The play is about street sleepers scattered around Hong Kongs slums and back alleys. They live on the streets and dream next to peoples footsteps, eking out an existence of great anxiety and hopelessness. Hong Kong has been criticised for having a severe wealth gap problem and street sleepers are the poorest of the poor. They are looked down on and ignored by society. Like Shakespeares King Lear, they are in a desperate situation.
