Highly acclaimed Brazilian pianist Nelson Freire will make his Hong Kong debut in September.
The recital will be held at 8pm on September 8 (Tuesday) at the Concert Hall of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. The programme will include Mozart’s “Piano Sonata No. 11 in A, K. 331”, Beethoven’s “Piano Sonata No. 32 in C Minor, Op. 111”, Prokofiev’s “Visions Fugitives, Op. 22” (excerpts), Granados’ “Quejas, Ó la maja y el ruiseñor” (from “Goyescas”), as well as Chopin’s “Barcarolle in F-sharp, Op. 60”, two “Mazurkas, Op. 17, No. 4 & Op. 56, No. 2” and “Ballade No. 4 in F Minor, Op. 52”.
