Description
Based on Pang’s short tales of growing up, “Laugh Me to the Moon” tells of a disillusioned primary school teacher who tries to reconnect with her childhood dreams by entering a stand-up comedy contest.
In life, one must learn to accept losses, to deal with dreams and ideals unattained, but the beauty of life is always with us, like the moon above our heads every night, whether it is full or new, seen or veiled.
“Laugh Me to the Moon” is Pang’s third one-actor play. Her play displays an exquisite story with rich stage visual effects and was highly appreciated by local theatre critics at its premiere.
