“Dong’s Campus” Literary Theatre Scheme Finale Performance

2014/15 School Arts Animateur Scheme

Description

Description

Based on the award-winning campus novel Dong’s Campus by renowned Hong Kong novelist Dung Kai-cheung. The novel tells the story of Dong, a primary school graduate who has just started secondary school. Dong sees dancing mice in the Music Room, a forest in the library, migratory birds in the Geography Room and a grizzly bear on the basketball hoop. His fantasy world enlivens Dong’s dull school life but leaves him misunderstood by his classmates and teachers. What should he do

Each participating school will take up different sections of Dong’s Campus and create its own script in the form of a prequel. The students will perform on stage and share their achievements with the public.
