Charm of Ink – Modern Ink Exhibition

Description

Description

Art of Nature proudly presents Charm of Ink – Modern Ink Exhibition on March 23rd and grand opens 5 – 8pm. It is our great honor to invite 10 renowned Hong Kong modern ink artists, including Chan Shing Kau and Chan Kwan Lap, protégés of Master Liu Kuo Sung, in our first exhibition in 2018. Modern Ink, as one of the important trends in Hong Kong, does not only inherit the traditional culture of China but also seeks to absorb Western modern art at the same time. Artists break free the limitations and expanded the possibilities of modern ink painting in terms of its technique, randomness, and freedom. Modern Ink leads Chinese painting into a brand new realm, which makes Hong Kong modern ink occupy a unique place in the world. The exhibition showcases works of urban landscape, city life, and natural scenery. Showing the capability of ink art and flourished its form of expression. It is also an attempt to realize the achievement of abstract ink art in Hong Kong. To locate its historical and aesthetic value, as well as a reflection of Hong Kong’s culture. The exhibition can be viewed from March 23rd to April 20th.
