The adapted version of excerpt The Monkey King Thrice Beats the Bony Ghost presents the thrilling story of the Monk Tripitaka and his three disciples in Journey to the West encountering the fearful Bony Ghost. The interactive performance will provide the opportunity for students to go on stage and interact with the characters and keep the story moving. Chinese surtitles will be provided during the performance for the convenience of the students. Introduction to the knowledge about Cantonese opera, including operatic song singing styles, body movements, gesturing, roles and costumes, etc. will be infused into the performance to let students learning the basics in a relaxing atmosphere.
