Description
Andersen’s Gazes is the second of the Andersen series by Lee Kyung-Ok Dance Company. This collaboration between Lee Kyung-ok Dance Company, and pop-artists Mary Kim and Choi Jong-beom, tells the story of Hans Christian Andersen’s life, cobbled together through his tales.
His stories have inspired plays, ballets, and both live-action and animated films, and now the Korean company of Lee Kyung-ok will explore these tales through contemporary dance – exploring man’s multiplicity through Andersen’s stories, and through his unique gaze.
