Description
Courtesan Yu Xuanji is deeply in love with Wen Zhang, and she desperately needs a large sum of money to bail Zhang out of prison. Xuanji thus marries Li Yi for money but on the day of her wedding, she gives birth to a baby whose father is Zhang. Li Yi is heartbroken, but he agrees to let Xuanji return to Zhang. As Xuanji arrives with the baby at Zhang’s home, she discovers that her handmaiden Lu Qiao has seduced Zhang and he has betrayed her love. Devastated, she seeks recluse at a temple, Fourteen years has passed, both Li Yi and Wen Zhang seek out Xuanji at the temple, Who will Xuanji choose at the end
