Lam Lai Bing, a grass-root working class mother, and her son Chow Kwok Hung both lost all hopes in life. Each made plans to commit suicide by burning charcoal at home. Before they went through with the plan, Lai Bing called her son to come home for a supper, after a long absence from each other’s life. In this extraordinary evening, they poured their hearts out, years of suppressed emotions and unspoken hardship erupted all at once. After catching a glimpse of comfort from each other, they made a decision……
