Description

Wu Chun-hei is currently a suona musician of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, a suona instructor of the Music Office, and a suona instructor of the Junior Music Programme of the School of Music of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Wu graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) Degree and Master of Music degree, having majored in suona and guan under Guo Yazhi, Law Hang-leung, Xia Boyan and Lo Wai-leung. He won the Best Performance Award at the first China Wind Instrumental Music Festival in 2011 at the first All China Suona Invitation Competition in 2013. He has performed in Beijing, Xi’an, Chengdu, Tianjin, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shantou, Malaysia and Russia.
