Description

Description

“Tail Language”
Tail Language is satirising the hypocritical culturalism and the analytical error of human language through movements that are motivated by the symbolic system of tail language and gesture from animals in imagination. It aims to break away from body and language through the process of dismantling and recombine from structural and semiotics movements such as the line and planes, or the intersection of lines and shapes. The emotion of outright egotism, the action of drawing a line between me and the others, changeable corrected conversations depending on the relationship or the analytical euro of language within moments. This work is a process that reveals the language of body, which is more primitive and lucid than text and words. It is a small but important attempt to discover ‘Truth’ on the opposite side of the social dialogue and relationships concealed by hypocrisy and superficial intellectualism.

“Body Concert”
How much could we possibly deliver to the audience with our pure body? We attempt to communicate with the audience through our ‘Ambiguous Dance’ and if the communication goes well, the performance will be in a state of flux.

Body Concert aims to offer a thrill with our dance concert. Originally Body Concert was created in 2010. During the creation, Bo Ram Kim (Artistic Director) was focused on establishing the essence of Ambiguous Dance Company’s own movement. Body Concert was premiered at ‘Critic’s Choices’ and won the ‘Best Piece Award’ in 2010. Taking this opportunity, Ambiguous Dance Company was received attention in the contemporary dance scene in Seoul. And the piece was also performed during ‘MODAFE (2012)’, ‘ASAC Body Language Festival (2014, 2015)’ and ‘PAMS Choice (2016)’.
