Description

Mulan is a legendary figure, who was originally described in a classic Chinese poem known as The Ballad of Mulan. She was a peasant girl who disguised as a man to join the army in place of her aged father. Over time, the story of Mulan rose in popularity as a folktale and widely taught in schools.
