Description
The GalaMusica‧School Chamber Compositions 2019 aims to promote music creating in schools and provide students with an opportunity to perform original music and learn from each other. In order to encourage students be familiarised with Chinese instrumental playing techniques and to apply them in writing music, the original chamber composition should include at least one Chinese musical instrument apart from western musical instrument(s). The above activity is presented by the Arts Education Section of the Education Bureau (EDB), co-organised by the Hong Kong Composers’ Guild and sponsored by the Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong and the Leisure Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
