Chanticleer (Usa) ‘Over The Moon’

Description

Description

The award-winning 12-man ensemble Chanticleer will perform Over the Moon in October as part of the Leisure & Cultural Services Department’s Music Delight Series.

The programme will include Gerald Finzi’s My Spirit Sang All Day, Nico Muhly’s Three Moon Songs, Mason Bates’ Observer in the Magellanic Cloud and Bart Howard’s Fly Me to the Moon.

Chanticleer’s 12 male voices range from countertenor to bass. The group has sold more than a million albums and won two Grammy awards since 1981.

The concert will be staged at 8pm on October 2 at Tsuen Wan Town Hall.
