Coming up to its 2nd Anniversary in July, a series of featured programmes is taking place in Comix Home Base. The Fifth Season – An Exhibition of Finnish Comics is one of those you would not miss.
The Fifth Season features Finnish comics artists Maria Björklund, Tommi Musturi, Joonas Rinta-Kanto, Marko Turunen and Amanda Vähämäki. Taking their works as a start, the audience are about to look into the diverse and vibrant comics world of Finland. This exhibition is going to inject some air of Northern European comics arts into the heated Hong Kong.
During the exhibition period, sharing talks by comics artist, Maria Björklund, and Representative from Finnish Comics Society, Maura Manninen, and an open-air Finnish animation screening night will be held.
