Description
The play follows the story of five young men who share a passion for music and get together to form a band. Hon, the owner of the school tuck shop who has nothing but moneymaking in mind, sees in them a lucrative possibility. He proposes to be their manager and vows to make them stars. Although each of the five have typical problems to face – study, family and love – their passion for music launches them on the road to success, and the band’s name, THE WINNERS, has stayed prominent for 35 years in Hong Kong’s Cantopop hall of fame.
