The Talking Art: Chinese Character As Image

Description

Description

“We just need to look beyond the obvious and follow our heart to discover new possibilities.” As a merely aspiration, Sun Chan tried to make novel games and art works of Chinese characters, to keep his three Japan-born daughters interested in the Chinese language. Sun Chan embarked on the journey to explore with new forms of visual representations for Chinese characters (Hanzi). Driven by love and inner creative instinct, Chan reveals the distinct individualities and decorative appeals of Chinese characters, and also brings extra surprises to viewers with knowledge.
