As the finale of the scheme, Finale Production in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao brings the three Best Plays in the Playwriting Competition held in the previous phase of the scheme onto the stage, fostering in-depth cultural exchange among creative talents of the three areas.
“Cultural Exchange Scheme in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao” is jointly presented by Chung Ying Theatre Company, Guangdong Performing Arts Company Limited and Theatre Farmers, with the aim of nurturing artistic talents in the drama field. Through Playwriting Training Series, Playwriting Competition and Finale Production, the collaboration widens the artistic vision of emerging playwrights.
Hong Kong “Abortion Bill”
Number of suicides among students and adolescents in Hong Kong has been startling in recent years.Research suggests that suicidees are mostly “losers” in society and their poor academic performance has long been a burden for teachers and parents. Fortunately, academic talent of fetuses can be tested with latest technology and parents can prevent giving birth to “losers” who cannot pass in the test. In order to stop teenage suicides and to develop Hong Kong into an elite city, the Government introduces a new legislation, the Abortion Bill, to require all pregnant women to test their fetuses…
