Description

Description

Following the success of their own projects “Eleven” and “Hong Kong Episodes”, Kerong Chok and Teriver Cheung are now coming together to present their latest collaborative project, “Departure”. As the representatives of the new generation of Asian jazz artists, this new project attempts to create original compositions with an adventurous, rich and modern sound, utilising elements from both jazz and classical traditions: a soulful Organ/Electric guitar trio, a hard swinging horn section with tight arrangements and burning improvisation, and a classical string quartet for further exploration of contemporary harmony.
