Description
Description
As the Qing army invade, Zhang, a famous Ming courtesan, chooses the love of resistance fighter Chen over surrendering Ming general Li. When Chen is later killed, Zhang risks humiliation to marry Li and save her lover’s family. With skillful manipulation, she also persuades Li to revolt against the Qing.
