Life is like water of a long and winding river, sometimes going fast, sometimes going slow, the way it is for a bunch of 16-year olds in their rite of passage. They flow, struggle, run into each other, tangled up, making ripples that find their place in the small crevices of the valley. Are their lives to stop there in the narrow spaces, or are they to make waves in the ocean? This story begins with the duel of two high-school students…
